Vertex Chemicals (Pvt) ltd. is a leading construction chemicals company in Pakistan, providing a host of chemical solutions for improving, repairing, protecting and decorating of construction assets. Our clients/portfolio includes many of the most iconic names of Pakistan including Bahria Icon Towers, Nestle, Tarbela Hydropower dam, Lahore Orange line, Shaukat Khanam Hospital and many more.

As part of our growing footprint, we are currently looking to hire an Operations Associate, who will be assisting the Operations manager in the day to day management of our production operations. This is more than just a dictated role and we are looking for a candidate who can take initiative to make positive and lasting changes to the factory operations.

Responsibilities: 

• Liaison with our regional offices & customers regarding orders and their priorities.

• Plan production for the day and communicate with relevant stakeholders.

• Forecast orders and plan for finished goods stocks, working closely with the supply team. 

• Ensure availibility of material stocks in line with production requirements and update supply team regarding any demands. 

• Labour management.

• Plan dispatches and coordinate with the dispatch officer for transportation.

• Report daily activity to the operations manager. 

Qualifications: 

• Min. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an Engineering discipline.  

• At least 2 years experience in factory operations.

• Solid communication skills 

• Excellent Project management skills

• Good understanding of Excel 

• Some Experience using an ERP system would be beneficial
