| Job Description: |
Responsibilities
- System administration of PBX and Call centers servers on premises and on cloud.
- Work with team to perform to ensure security of all VoIP devices and servers, perform updates/fix.
- Work with team to ensure service quality, redundancy of voice paths and service optimization.
- Review performance/resource utilization graphs for all VoIP systems and report for decision making.
- Perform monitoring of voice infrastructure which includes production servers, network paths, and connectivity, storage, and voice quality/paths, from troubleshooting to until issue is fixed.
- Updating Cisco/Grand stream phones firmware with the latest.
- Understanding dial-plan and Asterisk/Elastix/Vicidial/CUCM/UCCX/CUC/Issabel applications.
- Provisioning of IP Phones on daily basis and need basis.
- Review bandwidth and resource utilization and make recommendations on best voice codec combination selection.
- Creation of extensions, queues, IVRs, agents, campaigns, voice mailboxes and SIP trunks for normal operations of PBX and Call Center.
- Provide support to call center agents, supervisors and PBX users regarding telephony issues.
- Perform continuous research work on latest technologies for improving our voice infrastructure and self-skills by attend internal technical and domain training.
Requirements
- Experience in Managing and Implementing Asterisk based VoIP systems (Core Asterisk, FreePBX, Elastix, Vicidial, Issabel etc) and its integration with 3rd party platforms (Must).
- Experience on Cisco based Collaborations services like CUCM/UCCX/CUC applications (Must)
- Experience on Cisco/Grand steam based IP and video phones.
- Knowledge and Hands-on in Implementing/Supporting Asterisk/Cisco based Voice Platform in multi-site and multi-tenant environment.
- Experience to work in a team in Telephony Projects planning and scoping to develop a design.
- Experience with Cisco UCS, Asterisk, Elastix, VMware, Linux, MySQL server
- Advanced process orientation and exhibited planning, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication
- Strong ability to troubleshoot complex telephony environments, with multiple 3rd party integrations
- Experience with Telephony Automation will be a plus
- Great attitude and willingness to learn and implement new technologies
