A young, dynamic startup founded in Dec 2021 with a focus on innovation with cloud serverless technologies and building enterprise level applications are looking for a Back End Web Developer to join our team with fully remote options.

As a Backend Web Developer, you will join a talented team, designing, developing, and deploying best in class web applications using JavaScript, Node.js and AWS.

Role

• Backend development of application using aws server technologies including dynamoDB, db streams, appSync, Amplify, lambda, SQS, cognito etc
• Following the development team's internal processes, best practices, coding standards, etc.
• Working closely with front-end engineers to implement an optimal user experience
• Performing routine maintenance, updates and refactoring to existing projects.
• Participating in the team's project planning processes, and clearly reporting back progress in our project management software.
• Investigating and resolving bugs or issues reported by users or clients.
• Providing feedback to help improve our processes and best practices used across our projects.

Requirements

• Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years’ hands-on programming experience in NodeJS
• Background in creating scalable solutions as part of an Agile team is a must
• Must be willing to learn and have a can do attitude
• Commercial experience with JavaScript libraries
• Experience in RESTful API development
• Well versed with programming tools like VS Code or other code editors, Github, ESLint
• Experience with common back-end development tools such as NPM etc.
• Proven experience as a Developer, with a successful track record of designing and implementing quality software products
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Great care for quality of work produced and attention to detail
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Salary

Between 150,000 to 250,000 PKR depending on experience.
