POSITION SUMMARY
WooGlobe is a UK based startup with offices in London, and Lahore. WooGlobe aims to be the market leader in user generated entertainment.
WooGlobe is looking for Social Media experts who can discover videos across social platforms and manage company’s digital channels / social media presence. If you are someone who has already seen a video before it shows up on popular website, then this is the job for you. We are looking for people who know how to search the Internet for videos, this means more than just scrolling through your Facebook feed or following YouTube’s “Trending” playlist. Additionally, the person should know how to grow the digital channels (FB, Youtube,Twitter etc) exponentially and create an engaging fan following.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is responsible for the discovery of online viral video content and growing company’s digital channels. The ideal candidate will have news / journalism background and will be highly computer literate. The candidate should be an expert in navigating social networks and be able to source compelling stories through video content that have the potential to go viral. The candidate should also have experience of managing and growing digital channels (FB, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram). This role will adapt and respond to the demands of the marketplace of new and existing trends. This is a full time position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
Familiarity with all video/social media platforms and a strong knowledge of how to best navigate them. (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr, Snapchat, VK) Strong internet research skills and excellent grasp over English Language Candidates must be able to work under strict deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong sense of urgency. Confidence under pressure. Ability to identify content that will perform well on social media. Strong computer Literacy is a must Candidate should be a quick learner and have know-how of video editing solutions.
