| Job Description: |
Store Keeper plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient management of materials and supplies and operations of a company. This position involves overseeing inventory, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining the organization of the storage facility. This is 4 months contract based job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management/Control:
- Assist the Store In-charge in managing inventory levels and stock movement.
- Receive the incoming materials to ensure quantity and accuracy.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize losses and optimize stock levels.
- Maintain precise records of all incoming and outgoing materials, supplies, tools, and equipment in ERP.
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Implement effective control measures to prevent shortages and overstocking on email or any other relevant forum.
- Timely escalate any issues to management for resolution.
2. Procurement and Vendor Relations:
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Coordinate incoming supplies and deliveries with the procurement team.
- Cultivate and maintain positive vendor relationships for a dependable supply chain.
3. Warehouse Organization:
- Ensure strict adherence to the designated warehouse timings.
- Oversee warehouse organization and layout to optimize storage and retrieval.
- Enforce best practices for warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security.
- Provide supervision to warehouse staff as required.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receipts, issuances, and returns.
- Input data into the ERP system for material-related activities.
- Document all receipt and issuance processes accurately.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to reconcile stock levels and identify discrepancies.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of materials in accordance with safety standards.
- Implement and enforce safety measures within the store and warehouse areas.
6. Quarterly Stock Taking:
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to reconcile stock levels and identify discrepancies.
- Conduct thorough stocktaking every quarter to reconcile physical inventory with recorded levels.
- Identify discrepancies, track inventory turnover, and implement corrective actions for stock variances.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Ware House Organization:
- Number of safety incidents or violations within the warehouse per month.
- Percentage of available warehouse space effectively utilized for storage.
- Rating of warehouse cleanliness based on regular inspections.
2. Documentation and Reporting:

Inventory Reporting Accuracy: Percentage of inventory reports without errors or discrepancies.

Data Entry Accuracy: Percentage of inventory data accurately entered into the ERP system.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience of 3 or plus years in inventory management or storekeeping role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
